How to Make a Mirror Glaze Cake

Start with a smooth, chilled cake. A mousse or ganache-covered cake works best for that mirror-like effect.

Prepare Your Cake

You’ll need: 1 cup sugar,  ½ cup water,  ½ cup sweetened condensed milk, 1 tbsp. gelatin,  1 cup white chocolate, Food coloring

Ingredients Required

- Bloom gelatin in cold water. - Heat sugar, water, and condensed milk until hot. - Add bloomed gelatin and mix well. - Pour over white chocolate and blend until smooth.

Make the Mirror Glaze

- Divide into bowls and add food coloring. - Swirl colors together for a mesmerizing effect. - Pour over the cake in one smooth motion.

Color and Pour

Allow the glaze to set for 10 minutes. Trim any drips for a perfect finish.
